At Bayanihan Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Church, music is at the heart of our worship. Our Music Department leads the congregation each Sabbath in praise that is Christ-centered, heartfelt, and prepared with care, through congregational hymns, special music, choir selections, and original songs written for our church family.
Our name reflects who we are. Bayanihan is the Filipino tradition of a community coming together to carry one another’s load, and that spirit shapes our ministry. Singers, musicians, and sound and media volunteers of every age serve side by side, so that everyone who walks through our doors can join in worship.

How We Make Music

Congregational Hymns
Every Sabbath our song leaders invite the whole church to sing — the hymns that prepare our hearts to hear the Word.
Choir
Our choir brings choir selections to Sabbath worship and leads the music for special services and programs throughout the year.
Special Music
Soloists, duets, and groups share a song as an offering of worship, often one of the most moving moments of the service.

New songs written by and for our church family, so our worship carries our own story of God’s faithfulness.
Instrumentalists
Our musicians accompany the singing and play the music that sets a spirit of worship.
