Skills on a Mission is a youth ministry committed to using our God-given talents to serve with purpose, courage, and faith. Building on last year’s focus of Link25, this year we move forward with the call to Be Bold in how we live, serve, and share Jesus.

2026 Roadmap

A clear season-by-season plan so everyone can follow along and participate.

First Quarter • Jan–Mar
WordFire (1st & 3rd Sabbath)
  • 2:30–3:30 PM at the Fellowship Hall
  • Group format: 12 Tribes of Israel
  • Open to in-person and online participants
  • Live Q&A to help youth boldly share the Word
  • Build toward ONE VOICE 2027
March 16–21 • Online
e³: From Worry to Worship
Encounter • Experience • Engage
  • Online evangelistic effort led by the young generation
  • Open to everyone (no age limit)
  • Meet young speakers
  • Theme: “Jesus is our Healer”
  • In cooperation with Hungarian SDA Church Satellite Youth Ministries
Second Quarter • Apr–Jun
Street Level (Campus Ministries)
  • Song & prayer indoor/outdoor near college/university campuses
  • Connect with Adventist students at non-Adventist schools
  • Partner with campus ministries (Columbia, Rutgers, Princeton)

Open Conversation Night
  • Create open conversations with students
  • Listen to challenges and needs
  • Speed gaming + light snacks
July
Mentoring • Friendship • Evangelism
  • Sports, skills, and Bible-related programs
  • Ages: 6–8, 9–12, 13–16
  • To be further studied, discussed, and prayed for
